Application fees for practising certificates for statutory functions have been revised following a review.
The new fees more appropriately reflect cost recovery, resulting in reductions for some categories and implementation of a fee for new practising certificate applications.
Payment has not been required from existing certificate of competence holders to apply for a practising certificate as part of the new scheme’s transitional arrangements that ended 30 September 2020.

New applicants for certificates of competence are issued a practising certificate at no cost once they pass the required examinations.
The reduced fee for applying for a practising certificate under mutual recognition has been implemented. The remaining fees will apply from 1 December 2020.
